Kombu, a brown seaweed similar to kelp, is naturally a rich source of iodine, calcium, potassium and magnesium. Adds vital nutrients and flavor to soups, stocks and grains and makes beans easier to digest. It is generally recommended to take only 2-3 grams a day of kombu, because it is so nutrient dense.
